In the following weeks Asplundh Tree crews working on behalf of Eversource will be engaging in proactive vegetation management work in areas that significantly impact circuit performance (tree related outages) in the towns of Westmoreland and Chesterfield. The primary feed for this circuit originates in Chesterfield so that work has been brought into our plans to address reliability concerns within your community.
We have scheduled a specialized 70’ off road tracked bucket to work along Route 9 and address hazard trees and overhanging limbs that pose a future threat to the electrical facilities. This piece of equipment will be able to access areas that traditional bucket trucks cannot.
The week of September 15th, a mix of 70’ and 100’ buckets will begin removing pre-identified hazard trees.
Areas of focus:
Route 63, Spofford Rd, Partridge Brook Road, River Road, McAdam Road, Route 9
Schedule - Location
Sept 10th Marooka Tracked Bucket - Route 9
Sept 10th Alpha Mower - River and Spofford Roads
Sept 17th Removal bucket Crews - Route 63, Spofford, Partridge Brook, River, and McAdam Roads
